My Little One was gifted this piano for his 1st birthday by a relative and it has been a hit for the last four months and counting! At first my Little One was apprehensive, it was the loudest thing he had ever come in contact with, but he quickly figured out that he could bang his little hands all over it and he LOVED that. It took a few weeks of practice before he started occasionally using the drumsticks.
After about two months he started pushing ALL the buttons. It’s really helped him develop his hand-eye coordination, attention to detail and after about another two months he’s started pointing out all sorts of things around and outside our home. He also started dancing to the classical music available at the push of the orange button and every time the song ends he runs over to the piano shouting, “Again, again!” Then he squats down, hits the button again and he’s off dancing again. It’s kept him occupied for 30 minutes at a time.
This little piano really just keeps on giving. It’s been beaten, tossed across the room (and landed on carpet), turned upside down, dragged around and been beaten some more and it’s still going strong. I haven’t even had to replace the batteries yet! I’m very excited to see what the next thing is that my Little One will learn from it (it’s looking like colors and numbers).
